Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created the cattle, so that they are their owners.

However, be not grieved by the sayings of those [who deny the truth]: verily, We know all that they keep secret as well as all that they bring into the open.

کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ جو چیزیں ہم نے اپنے ہاتھوں سے بنائیں ان میں سے ہم نے ان کے لئے چارپائے پیدا کر دیئے اور یہ ان کے مالک ہیں

يأمر تعالى العباد بالنظر إلى ما سخر لهم من الأنعام وذللها، وجعلهم مالكين لها، مطاوعة لهم في كل أمر يريدونه منها، وأنه جعل لهم فيها منافع كثيرة من حملهم وحمل أثقالهم ومحاملهم وأمتعتهم من محل إلى محل، ومن أكلهم منها، وفيها دفء، ومن أوبارها وأشعارها وأصوافها أثاثا ومتاعا إلى حين، وفيها زينة وجمال، وغير ذلك من المنافع المشاهدة منها، { أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ } اللّه تعالى الذي أنعم بهذه النعم، ويخلصون له العبادة ولا يتمتعون بها تمتعا خاليا من العبرة والفكرة.

أولم ير الخلق أنا خلقنا لأجلهم أنعامًا ذللناها لهم، فهم مالكون أمرها؟

يذكر تعالى ما أنعم به على خلقه من هذه الأنعام التي سخرها لهم "فهم لها مالكون" قال قتادة مطيقون أي جعلهم يقهرونها وهي ذليلة لهم لا تمتنع منهم بل لو جاء صغير إلى بعير لأناخه ولو شاء لأقامه وساقه وذاك ذليل منقاد معه وكذا لو كان القطار مائة بعير أو أكثر لسار الجميع بسير الصغير.

There is a Sign and a Blessing in Cattle Allah mentions the blessing that He has bestowed upon His creation by subjugating these cattle for their use. فَهُمْ لَهَا مَـلِكُونَ (so that they are their owners.) Qatadah said, "They are their masters." Meaning, He has made them subdue them. So they are submissive towards them and do not resist them; even if a young child comes to a camel he can make it kneel down, and if he wants to, he can make it stand up and can drive it, and it will meekly be led by him. Even if the train consists of a hundred or more camels, they could all be led by a young child. فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ (some of them they have for riding and some they eat.) means, some of them they ride on their journeys, and use them to carry their burdens to all regions. وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ (and some they eat.) means, if they want to, and they slaughter and sacrifice them. وَلَهُمْ (And they have (other) benefits from them,) means, from their wool, fur, and hair, furnishings and articles of convenience, comfort for a time. فِيهَا (and (they get to) drink. ) means, their milk, and their urine for those who need it as medicine, and so on. أَفَلاَ يَشْكُرُونَ (Will they not then be grateful) means, `will they not worship the Creator and Subduer of that, without showing gratitude to others'

چوپائیوں کے فوائد۔ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے انعام و احسان کا ذکر فرما رہا ہے۔ کہ اس نے خود ہی یہ چوپائے پیدا کئے اور انسان کی ملکیت میں دے دئیے، ایک چھوٹا سا بچہ بھی اونٹ کی نکیل تھام لے اونٹ جیساقوی اور بڑا جانور اس کے ساتھ ساتھ ہی سو اونٹوں کی ایک قطار ہو ایک بچے کے ہانکنے سے سیدھے چلتی رہتی ہے۔ اس ماتحتی کے علاوہ بعض لمبے لمبے مشقت والے سفر بآسانی جلدی جلدی طے ہوتے ہیں خود سوار ہوتے ہیں اسباب لادتے ہیں بوجھ ڈھونے کے کام آتے ہیں۔ اور بعض کے گوشت کھائے جاتے ہیں، پھر صوف اور ان کے بالوں کھالوں وغیرہ سے فائدہ اٹھاتے ہیں۔ دودھ پیتے ہیں، بطور علاج پیشاب کام میں آتے ہیں اور بھی طرح طرح کے فوائد حاصل کئے جاتے ہیں۔ کیا پھر ان کو نہ چاہے کہ ان نعمتوں کے منعم حقیقی، ان احسانوں کے محسن، ان چیزوں کے خالق، ان کے حقیقی مالک کا شکر بجا لائیں ؟ صرف اسی کی عبادت کریں ؟ اس کی توحید کو مانیں اور اس کے ساتھ کسی اور کو شریک نہ کریں۔
