Ayah Study

They swear by Allâh to you (Muslims) in order to please you, but it is more fitting that they should please Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), if they are believers.

The offerings given for the sake of God are [meant] only for the poor and the needy, and those who are in charge thereof, and those whose hearts are to be won over, and for the freeing of human beings from bondage, and [for] those who are overburdened with debts, and [for every struggle] in God’s cause, and [for] the wayfarer: [this is] an ordinance from God – and God is all-knowing, wise.

مومنو! یہ لوگ تمہارے سامنے خدا کی قسمیں کھاتے ہیں تاکہ تم کو خوش کر دیں۔ حالانکہ اگر یہ (دل سے) مومن ہوتے تو خدا اور اس کے پیغمبر خوش کرنے کے زیادہ مستحق ہیں

قال قتادة في قوله تعالى يحلفون بالله لكم ليرضوكم. الآية قال ذكر لنا أن رجلا من المنافقين قال والله إن هؤلاء لخيارنا وأشرافنا وإن كان ما يقول محمد حقا لهم شر من الحمير. قال: فسمعها رجل من المسلمين فقال: والله إن ما يقول محمد لحق ولأنت أشر من الحمار. قال فسعى بهل الرجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأخبره فأرسل إلى الرجل فدعاه فقال " ما حملك على الذي قلت؟ " فجعل يلتعن ويحلف بالله ما قال ذلك وجعل الرجل المسلم يقول: اللهم صدِّق الصامت وكذِّب الكاذب فأنزل الله الآية.

‏{‏يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ‏}‏ فيتبرأوا مما صدر منهم من الأذية وغيرها، فغايتهم أن ترضوا عليهم‏.‏ ‏{‏وَاللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَقُّ أَنْ يُرْضُوهُ إِنْ كَانُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ‏}‏ لأن المؤمن لا يقدم شيئا على رضا ربه ورضا رسوله، فدل هذا على انتفاء إيمانهم حيث قدموا رضا غير اللّه ورسوله‏.‏

يحلف المنافقون الأيمان الكاذبة، ويقدمون الأعذار الملفقة؛ ليُرضُوا المؤمنين، والله ورسوله أحق وأولى أن يُرضُوهما بالإيمان بهما وطاعتهما، إن كانوا مؤمنين حقًا.

Hypocrites revert to Lies to please People Qatadah said about Allah's statement, يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ (They swear by Allah to you (Muslims) in order to please you) "A hypocrite man said, `By Allah! They (hypocrites) are our chiefs and masters. If what Muhammad says is true, they are worse than donkeys.' A Muslim man heard him and declared, `By Allah! What Muhammad says is true and you are worse than a donkey!' The Muslim man conveyed what happened to the Prophet who summoned the hypocrite and asked him, «مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى الَّذِي قُلْتَ؟» (What made you say what you said) That man invoked curses on himself and swore by Allah that he never said that. Meanwhile, the Muslim man said, `O Allah! Assert the truth of the truthful and expose the lies of the liar.' Allah revealed this Verse."' Allah's statement, أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّهُ مَن يُحَادِدِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ (Know they not that whoever opposes and shows hostility to Allah and His Messenger,) means, have they not come to know and realize that those who defy, oppose, wage war and reject Allah, thus becoming on one side while Allah and His Messenger on another side, فَأَنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِداً فِيهَا (certainly for him will be the fire of Hell to abide therein), in a humiliating torment, ذَلِكَ الْخِزْىُ الْعَظِيمُ (That is the extreme disgrace)9:63, that is the greatest disgrace and the tremendous misery.

نادان اور کوڑ مغز کون ؟ واقعہ یہ ہوا تھا کہ منافقوں میں سے ایک شخص کہہ رہا تھا کہ ہمارے سردار اور رئیس بڑے ہی عقل مند دانا اور تجربہ کار ہیں اگر محمد ﷺ کی باتیں حق ہوتیں تو یہ کیا ایسے بیوقوف تھے کہ انہیں نہ مانتے ؟ یہ بات ایک سچے مسلمان صحابی نے سن لی اور اس نے کہا واللہ حضور ﷺ کی سب باتیں بالکل سچ ہیں اور نہ ماننے والوں کی بیوقوفی اور کوڑ مغز ہونے میں کوئی شک نہیں ہے۔ جب یہ صحابی دربار نبوت میں حاضر ہوئے تو یہ واقعہ بیان کیا کہ آپ نے اس شخص کو بلوا بھیجا لیکن وہ سخت قسمیں کھا کھا کر کہنے لگا کہ میں نے تو یہ بات کہی ہی نہیں یہ تو مجھ پر تہمت باندھتا ہے اس صحابی نے دعا کی کہ پروردگار تو سچے کو سچا اور جھوٹے کو جھوٹا کر دکھا اس پر یہ آیت شریف نازل ہوئی۔ کیا ان کو یہ بات معلوم نہیں کہ اللہ اور رسول کے مخالف ابدی اور جہنمی ہیں۔ ذلت و رسوائی عذاب دوزخ بھگتنے والے ہیں اس سے بڑھ کر شومی طالع اس سے زیادہ رسوائی اس سے بڑھکر شقاوت اور کیا ہوگی ؟
