And so the sorcerers came to Fir‘aun (Pharaoh). They said: "Indeed there will be a (good) reward for us if we are the victors."

And Moses said: O Pharaoh! Verily, I am an apostle from the Sustainer of all the worlds,

(چنانچہ ایسا ہی کیا گیا) اور جادوگر فرعون کے پاس آپہنچے اور کہنے لگے کہ اگر ہم جیت گئے تو ہمیں صلہ عطا کیا جائے

وقال هنا: وَجَاءَ السَّحَرَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ طالبين منه الجزاء إن غلبوا فـ قَالُوا إِنَّ لَنَا لأجْرًا إِنْ كُنَّا نَحْنُ الْغَالِبِينَ ؟

وجاء السحرة فرعون قالوا: أئنَّ لنا لجائزة ومالا إن غَلَبْنا موسى؟

يخبر تعالى عما تشارط عليه فرعون والسحرة الذين استدعاهم لمعارضة موسى عليه السلام إن غلبوا موسى ليثيبنهم وليعطينهم عطاء جزيلا فوعدهم ومناهم أن يعطيهم ما أرادوا ويجعلهم من جلسائه والمقربين عنده فلما توثقوا من فرعون لعنه الله.

The Magicians convene and change Their Ropes into Snakes before Musa Allah describes the conversation that took place between Fir`awn and the magicians he collected to defeat Musa, peace be upon him. Fir`awn told them that he will reward them and give them tremendous provisions. He made them hope in acquiring what they wished for and to make them among his private audience and best associates. When they were assured of the cursed Fir`awn's promises,

جادو گروں نے پہلے ہی فرعون سے قول وقرار لے لیا تاکہ محنت کالی نہ جائے اور اگر ہم جیت جائیں تو خالی ہاتھ نہ رہ جائیں۔ فرعون نے وعدہ کیا کہ منہ مانگا انعام اور ہمیشہ کیلئے خاص درباریوں میں داخلہ دوں گا۔ یہ قول وقرار لے کر میدان میں اتر آئے۔
