Ayah Study

And not equal are the blind and those who see; nor are (equal) those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism), and do righteous good deeds, and those who do evil. Little do you remember!

But [then,] the blind and the seeing are not equal; and neither [can] they who have attained to faith and do good works and the doers of evil [be deemed equal]. How seldom do you keep this in mind!

اور اندھا اور آنکھ والا برابر نہیں۔ اور نہ ایمان لانے والے نیکوکار اور نہ بدکار (برابر ہیں) (حقیقت یہ ہے کہ) تم بہت کم غور کرتے ہو

أي: كما لا يستوي الأعمى والبصير، كذلك لا يستوي من آمن بالله وعمل الصالحات، ومن كان مستكبرًا على عبادة ربه، مقدمًا على معاصيه، ساعيًا في مساخطه، { قَلِيلًا مَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ } أي: تذكركم قليل وإلا، فلو تذكرتم مراتب الأمور، ومنازل الخير والشر، والفرق بين الأبرار والفجار، وكانت لكم همة عليه، لآثرتم النافع على الضار، والهدى على الضلال، والسعادة الدائمة، على الدنيا الفانية.

وما يستوي الأعمى والبصير، وكذلك لا يستوي المؤمنون الذين يُقِرُّون بأن الله هو الإله الحق لا شريك له، ويستجيبون لرسله ويعملون بشرعه، والجاحدون الذين ينكرون أن الله هو الإله الحق، ويكذبون رسله ولا يعملون بشرعه. قليلا ما تتذكرون -أيها الناس- حجج الله، فتعتبرون، وتتعظون بها.

أي كما لا يستوي الأعمى الذي لا يبصر شيئا والبصير الذي يرى ما انتهى إليه بصره بل بينهما فرق عظيم كذلك لا يستوي المؤمنون الأبرار والكفرة الفجار "قليلا ما تتذكرون" أي ما أقل ما يتذكر كثير من الناس.

Life after Death Allah tells us that He will bring back His creation on the Day of Resurrection. That is very easy for Him, because He created the heavens and the earth, and creating them is greater than creating mankind, the first time and when He creates them again. The One Who is able to do that is able to do anything that is less than that. As Allah says: أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِى خَلَقَ السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ وَلَمْ يَعْىَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَن يُحْىِ الْمَوْتَى بَلَى إِنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (Do they not see that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and was not wearied by their creation, is able to give life to the dead Yes, He surely is able to do all things.) (46:33) And Allah says here: لَخَلْقُ السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ أَكْـبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْـثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ (The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind; yet, most of mankind know not.) hence they do not think about or ponder this proof. Similarly, many of the Arabs recognized that Allah had created the heavens and the earth, but they denied and rejected the idea of the resurrection; they acknowledged something which was greater than that which they denied. Then Allah says: وَمَا يَسْتَوِى الاٌّعْـمَى وَالْبَصِيرُ وَالَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّـلِحَـتِ وَلاَ الْمُسِىءُ قَلِيـلاً مَّا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ (And not equal are the blind and those who see; nor are those who believe, and do righteous good deeds, and those who do evil. Little do you remember!) The blind man who cannot see anything is not the same as the sighted man who can see everything as far as his eyesight reaches -- there is a huge difference between them. By the same token, the righteous believers and the immoral disbelievers are not equal. قَلِيـلاً مَّا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ (Little do you remember!) means, most of the people remember little. وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لآتِيَةٌ (Verily, the Hour (Day of Judgement) is surely coming,) means, it will indeed come to pass. لاَّ رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ (there is no doubt about it, yet most men believe not.) means, they do not believe in it, and in fact they doubt its existence altogether.

انسان کی دوبارہ پیدائش کے دلائل۔اللہ تعالیٰ قادر مطلق فرماتا ہے کہ مخلوق کو وہ قیامت کے دن نئے سرے سے ضرور زندہ کرے گا جبکہ اس نے آسمان و زمین جیسی زبردست مخلوق کو پیدا کردیا تو انسان کا پیدا کرنا یا اسے بگاڑ کر بنانا اس پر کیا مشکل ہے ؟ اور آیت میں ارشاد ہے کہ کیا ایسی بات اور اتنی واضح حقیقت بھی جھٹلائے جانے کے قابل ہے کہ جس اللہ نے زمین و آسمان کو پیدا کردیا اور اس اتنی بڑی چیز کی پیدائش سے نہ وہ تھکا نہ عاجز ہوا اس پر مردوں کا جلانا کیا مشکل ہے ؟ ایسی صاف دلیل بھی جس کے سامنے جھٹلانے کی چیز ہو اس کی معلومات یقینا نوحہ کرنے کے قابل ہیں۔ اس کی جہالت میں کیا شک ہے ؟ جو ایسی موٹی بات بھی نہ سمجھ سکے ؟ تعجب ہے کہ بڑی بڑی چیز تو تسلیم کی جائے اور اس سے بہت چھوٹی چیز کو محال محض مانا جائے، اندھے اور دیکھنے والے کا فرق ظاہر ہے ٹھیک اسی طرح مسلم و مجرم کا فرق ہے۔ اکثر لوگ کس قدر کم نصیحت قبول کرتے ہیں، یقین مانو کہ قیامت کا آنا حتمی ہے پھر بھی اس کی تکذیب کرنے اور اسے باور نہ کرنے سے بیشتر لوگ باز نہیں آتے۔ ایک یمنی شیخ اپنی سنی ہوئی روایت بیان کرتے ہیں قریب قیامت کے وقت لوگوں پر بلائیں برس پڑیں گی اور سورج کی حرارت سخت تیز ہوجائے گی۔ واللہ اعلم
