Ayah Study

And (remember) the Day when He (your Lord - Allâh) will call to them (those who worshipped others along with Allâh), and will say: "Where are My (so-called) partners, whom you used to assert?"

And thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open:

اور جس دن وہ اُن کو پکارے گا اور کہے گا کہ میرے وہ شریک جن کا تمہیں دعویٰ تھا کہاں گئے؟

أي: ويوم ينادي اللّه المشركين به، العادلين به غيره، الذين يزعمون أن له شركاء، يستحقون أن يعبدوا، وينفعون ويضرون، فإذا كان يوم القيامة، أراد اللّه أن يظهر جراءتهم وكذبهم في زعمهم وتكذيبهم لأنفسهم فـ { يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ } أي: بزعهم، لا بنفس الأمر، كما قال: { وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ إِنْ يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وإن هم إلا يخرصون }

ويوم ينادي الله هؤلاء المشركين، فيقول لهم: أين شركائي الذين كنتم تزعمون في الدنيا أنهم شركائي؟

وهذا أيضا نداء ثان على سبيل التوبيخ والتقريع لمن عبد مع الله إلها آخر يناديهم الرب تعالى على رءوس الأشهاد فيقول. "أين شركائي الذين كنتم تزعمون" أي في دار الدنيا.

Rebuking the Idolators This is another call by way of rebuke for those who worshipped other gods besides Allah. The Lord, may He be exalted, will call to them before all the witnesses, and will say: أَيْنَ شُرَكَآئِىَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ (Where are My (so-called) partners, whom you used to assert) meaning, in this world. وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيداً (And We shall take out from every nation a witness,) Mujahid said, "This means a Messenger." فَقُلْنَا هَاتُواْ بُرْهَـنَكُمْ (and We shall say: "Bring your proof.") meaning, `of the truth of your claim that Allah had any partners.' فَعَلِمُواْ أَنَّ الْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ (Then they shall know that the truth is with Allah,) meaning, that there is no god besides Him. Then they will not speak and they will not be able to find any answer. وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ (and the lies which they invented will disappear from them.) they will vanish and will be of no benefit to them.

افترا بندی چھوڑ دو مشرکوں کو دوسری دفعہ ڈانٹ دکھائی جائے گی اور فرمایا جائے گا کہ دنیا میں جنہیں میرا شریک ٹھہرا رہے تھے وہ آج کہاں ہیں ؟ ہر امت میں سے ایک گواہ یعنی اس امت کا پیغمبر ممتاز کرلیا جائے گا۔ مشرکوں سے کہا جائے گا اپنے شرک کی کوئی دلیل پیش کرو۔ اس وقت یہ یقین کرلیں گے کہ فی الواقع عبادتوں کے لائق اللہ کے سوا اور کوئی نہیں۔ کوئی جواب نہ دے سکیں گے حیران رہ جائیں گے اور تمام افترا بھول جائیں گے۔
