Ayah Study

Verily, those who believe (in Allâh and in His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and those who are Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians, and the Majûs, and those who worship others besides Allâh, truly, Allâh will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection. Verily! Allâh is over all things a Witness.<sup foot_note=154733>1</sup>

Verily, as for those who have attained to faith [in this divine writ], and those who follow the Jewish faith, and the Sabians, and the Christians, and the Magians, [on the one hand,] and those who are bent on ascribing divinity to aught but God, [on the other,] – verily, God will decide between them on Resurrection Day: for, behold, God is witness unto everything.

جو لوگ مومن (یعنی مسلمان) ہیں اور جو یہودی ہیں اور ستارہ پرست اور عیسائی اور مجوسی اور مشرک۔ خدا ان (سب) میں قیامت کے دن فیصلہ کردے گا۔ بےشک خدا ہر چیز سے باخبر ہے

{ وَهُدُوا إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْحَمِيدِ } يخبر تعالى عن طوائف أهل الأرض، من الذين أوتوا الكتاب، من المؤمنين واليهود والنصارى والصابئين، ومن المجوس، ومن المشركين أن الله سيجمعهم جميعهم ليوم القيامة، ويفصل بينهم بحكمه العدل، ويجازيهم بأعمالهم التي حفظها وكتبها وشهدها، ولهذا قال: { إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ }

إن الذين آمنوا بالله ورسوله محمدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم واليهود والصابئين وهم: (قوم باقون على فطرتهم ولا دين مقرر لهم يتبعونه) والنصارى والمجوس (وهم عبدة النار) والذين أشركوا وهم: عبدة الأوثان، إنَّ الله يفصل بينهم جميعًا يوم القيامة فيدخل المؤمنين الجنة، ويدخل الكافرين النار، إن الله على كل شيء شهيد، شهد أعمال العباد كلَّها، وأحصاها وحفظها، وسيجازي كلا بما يستحق جزاء وفاقًا للأعمال التي عملوها.

يخبر تعالى عن أهل هذه الأديان المختلفة من المؤمنين ومن سواهم من اليهود والصابئين وقد قدمنا في سورة البقرة التعريف بهم واختلاف الناس فيهم والنصارى والمجوس والذين أشركوا فعبدوا مع الله غيره فإنه تعالى " يفصل بينهم يوم القيامة " ويحكم بينهم بالعدل فيدخل من آمن به الجنة ومن كفر به النار فإنه تعالى شهيد على أفعالهم حفيظ لأقوالهم عليم بسرائرهم وما تكن ضمائرهم.

Allah will judge between the Sects on the Day of Resurrection Allah tells us about the followers of these various religions, the believers (Muslims) and others such as the Jews and Sabians. We have already seen a definition of them in Surat Al-Baqarah and have noted how people differ over who they are. There are also the Christians, Majus and others who worship others alongside Allah. Allah will يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيـمَةِ (judge between them on the Day of Resurrection) with justice; He will admit those who believed in Him to Paradise and will send those who disbelieved in Him to Hell, for He is a Witness over their deeds, and He knows all that they say and all that they do in secret, and conceal in their breast.

مختلف مذہبوں کا فیصلہ روز قیامت ہوگا صابئین کا بیان مع اختلاف سورة بقرہ کی تفسیر میں گزر چکا ہے یہاں فرماتا ہے کہ ان مختلف مذہب والوں کا فیصلہ قیامت کے دن صاف ہوجائے گا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ایمان والوں کو جنت دے گا اور کفار کو جہنم واصل کرے گا۔ سب کے اقوال و افعال ظاہر وباطن اللہ پر عیاں ہیں
