Ayah Study

And the Day whereon We shall gather them all together, then We shall say to those who did set partners in worship with Us: "Stop at your place! You and your partners (whom you had worshipped in the worldly life)." then We shall separate them, and their (Allâh’s so-called) partners shall say: "It was not us that you used to worship."

He it is who enables you to travel on land and sea. And [behold what happens] when you go to sea in ships: [they go to sea in ships,] and they sail on in them in a favourable wind, and they rejoice thereat – until there comes upon them a tempest, and waves surge towards them from all sides, so that they believe themselves to be encompassed [by death; and then] they call unto God, [at that moment] sincere in their faith in Him alone, If Thou wilt but save us from this, we shall most certainly be among the grateful!

اور جس دن ہم ان سب کو جمع کریں گے پھر مشرکوں سے کہیں گے کہ تم اور تمہارے شریک اپنی اپنی جگہ ٹھہرے رہو۔ تو ہم ان میں تفرقہ ڈال دیں گے اور ان کے شریک (ان سے) کہیں گے کہ تم ہم کو نہیں پوجا کرتے تھے

يقول تعالى‏:‏ ‏{‏وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا‏}‏ أي‏:‏ نجمع جميع الخلائق، لميعاد يوم معلوم، ونحضر المشركين، وما كانوا يعبدون من دون الله‏.‏ ‏{‏ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا مَكَانَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ وَشُرَكَاؤُكُمْ‏}‏ أي‏:‏ الزموا مكانكم ليقع التحاكم والفصل بينكم وبينهم‏.‏ ‏{‏فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ‏}‏ أي‏:‏ فرقنا بينهم، بالبعد البدني والقلبي، وحصلت بينهم العداوة الشديدة، بعد أن بذلوا لهم في الدنيا خالص المحبة وصفو الوداد، فانقلبت تلك المحبة والولاية بغضًا وعداوة‏.‏ وتبرأ شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ منهم وقالوا‏:‏ ‏{‏مَا كُنْتُمْ إِيَّانَا تَعْبُدُونَ‏}‏ فإننا ننزه الله أن يكون له شريك، أو نديد‏.‏

واذكر -أيها الرسول- يوم نحشر الخلق جميعا للحساب والجزاء، ثم نقول للذين أشركوا بالله: الزموا مكانكم أنتم وشركاؤكم الذين كنتم تعبدونهم من دون الله حتى تنظروا ما يُفْعل بكم، فَفَرَّقْنا بين المشركين ومعبوديهم، وتبرَّأ مَن عُبِدُوا مِن دون الله ممن كانوا يعبدونهم، وقالوا للمشركين: ما كنتم إيانا تعبدون في الدنيا.

"ويوم نحشرهم" أي أهل الأرض كلهم من جن وإنس وبر وفاجر كقوله "وحشرناهم فلم نغادر منهم أحدا" "ثم نقول للذين أشركوا" الآية أي الزموا أنتم وهم مكانا معينا امتازوا فيه عن مقام المؤمنين كقوله تعالى "وامتازوا اليوم أيها المجرمون" وقوله "ويوم تقوم الساعة يومئذ يتفرقون" وفي الآية الأخرى "يومئذ يصدعون" أي يصيرون صدعين وهذا يكون إذا جاء الرب تبارك وتعالى لفصل القضاء ولهذا قيل ذلك يستشفع المؤمنون إلى الله تعالى أن يأتي لفصل القضاء ويريحنا من مقامنا هذا وفي الحديث الآخر "نحن يوم القيامة على كوم فوق الناس" وقال الله تعالى في الآية الكريمة إخبارا عما يأمر به المشركين وأوثانهم يوم القيامة "مكانكم أنتم وشركاؤكم فزيلنا بينهم" الآية أنهم أنكروا عبادتهم وتبرءوا منهم كقوله "كلا سيكفرون بعبادتهم" الآية وقوله "إذ تبرأ الذين اتبعوا من الذين اتبعوا" وقوله "ومن أضل ممن يدعو من دون الله من لا يستجيب له إلى يوم القيامة وهم عن دعائهم غافلون وإذا حشر الناس كانوا لهم أعداء" الآية وقوله في هذه الآية إخبارا عن قول الشركاء فيما راجعوا فيه عابديهم عند ادعائهم عبادتهم.

The gods of the Idolators will claim Innocence from them on the Day of Resurrection Allah said: وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ (And the Day whereon We shall gather them) Allah will gather together all the creatures of earth, human and Jinn, righteous and rebellious. He said in another Ayah: وَحَشَرْنَـهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَداً (and We shall gather them all together so as to leave not one of them behind.)18:47 ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ مَكَانَكُمْ أَنتُمْ وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ (then We shall say to those who did associate partners: "Stop at your place! You and your partners.") He then will command the idolators to stay where they are and not to move from their destined places so they would be separated from the place of the believers. Similarly, Allah said: وَامْتَازُواْ الْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ ((It will be said): "And O you the criminals! Get you apart this Day (from the believers).)(36:59) Allah also said: وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَفَرَّقُونَ (And on the Day when the Hour will be established - that Day shall (all men) be separated (the believers will be separated from the disbelievers). )30:14 In the same Surah, Ar-Rum, Allah said: يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصَّدَّعُونَ (On that Day men shall be divided.) 30:43 means, they shall be divided in two. This is what will take place when Allah Almighty will come for Final Judgement. The believers intercede to Allah so the Final Judgement may come and they get rid of that state. The Prophet said, «نَحْنُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى كُومٍ فَوْقَ النَّاس» (On the Day of Resurrection, we will be in a visible place above the other people.) Allah tells us here what He is going to command the idolators and their idols to do on the Day of Resurrection مَكَانَكُمْ أَنتُمْ وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ ("Stop at your place! You and your partners." Then We shall separate them,) and that they would deny their worship and claim their innocence from them. Similarly, Allah said: ` كَلاَّ سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَـدَتِهِمْ (Nay, but they will deny their worship of them.)19:82, إِذْ تَبَرَّأَ الَّذِينَ اتُّبِعُواْ مِنَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُواْ (When those who were followed declare themselves innocent of those who followed (them).)2:166, and; وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّن يَدْعُو مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَن لاَّ يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَـمَةِ وَهُمْ عَن دُعَآئِهِمْ غَـفِلُونَ وَإِذَا حُشِرَ النَّاسُ كَانُواْ لَهُمْ أَعْدَآءً (And who is more astray than one who calls on (invokes) besides Allah, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become their enemies)46:5-6. This refers to the partners responding to those who worshipped them, Then Allah said: فَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ (So sufficient is Allah as a witness between us and you.) They say that we did not know or think that you were worshipping us. Allah is a Witness between us and you that we never called upon you to worship us. We never ordered you to worship us; neither did we accept your worship of us. Allah said: هُنَالِكَ تَبْلُواْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّآ أَسْلَفَتْ (There! Every person will know (exactly) what he had earned before) This will be the state of accounting on the Day of Resurrection. Every soul shall know all that it had sent forth, both good and evil. Similarly, Allah said: يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَآئِرُ (The Day when all the secrets will be examined.)86:9, يُنَبَّأُ الإِنسَـنُ يَوْمَئِذِ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ (On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of deeds), and what he left behind.)75:13, and وَكُلَّ إِنْسَـنٍ أَلْزَمْنَـهُ طَـئِرَهُ فِى عُنُقِهِ وَنُخْرِجُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَـمَةِ كِتَابًا يَلْقَـهُ مَنْشُوراً - اقْرَأْ كَتَـبَكَ كَفَى بِنَفْسِكَ الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبًا (. ..and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall bring out for him a book which he will find wide open. (It will be said to him): "Read your book. You yourself are sufficient as a reckoner against you this Day.") 17:13-14 Then Allah said, وَرُدُّواْ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَوْلَـهُمُ الْحَقِّ (and they will be brought back to Allah, their rightful Mawla.) All affairs and matters will be brought back to Allah, the Judge, the All-Just. He will judge everyone, and then admit the people of Paradise in Paradise and the people of Hell to Hell. وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم (and will vanish from them) meaning what the idolators worshipped, مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ (what they invented) what they worshipped besides Allah that they invented.

میدان حشر میں سبھی موجود ہوں گے مومن، کافر، نیک، بد، جن انسان، سب میدان قیامت میں اللہ کے سامنے جمع ہونگے۔ سب کا حشر ہوگا، ایک بھی باقی نہ رہے گا۔ پھر مشرکوں اور ان کے شریکوں کو الگ کھڑا کردیا جائے گا۔ ان مجرموں کی جماعت مومنوں سے الگ ہوجائے گی، سب جدا جدا گروہ میں بٹ جائیں گے ایک سے ایک الگ ہوجائے گا۔ اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ خود فیصلوں کے لیے تشریف لائے گا۔ مومن سفارش کر کے اللہ کو لائیں گے کہ وہ فیصلے فرما دے۔ یہ امت ایک اونچے ٹیلے پر ہوگی، مشرکین کے شرکا اپنے عابدوں سے بےزاری ظاہر کریں گے اسی طرح خود مشرکین بھی ان سے انجان ہوجائیں گے۔ سب ایک دوسرے انجان بن جائیں گے۔ اب بتلاؤ ان مشرکوں سے بھی زیادہ کوئی بہکا ہوا ہے کہ انہیں پکارتے رہے جو آج تک ان کی پکار سے بھی غافل رہے اور آج ان کے دشمن بن کر مقابلے پر آگئے۔ صاف کہا کہ تم نے ہماری عبادت نہیں کی۔ ہمیں کچھ خبر نہیں ہماری تمہاری عبادتوں سے بالکل غافل رہے۔ اسے اللہ خوب جانتا ہے، نہ ہم نے اپنی عبادت کو تم سے کہا تھا نہ ہم اس سے کبھی خوش رہے۔ تم اندھی، نہ سنتی، بیکار چیزوں کو پوجتے رہے جو خود ہی بیخبر تھے نہ وہ اس سے خوش نہ ان کا یہ حکم۔ بلکہ تمہاری پوری حاجت مندی کے وقت تمہارے شرک کے منکر، تمہاری عبادتوں کے منکر بلکہ تمہارے دشمن تھے۔ اس حی وقیوم، سمیع وبصیر، قادر ومالک وحدہ لاشریک کو تم نے چھوڑ دیا جس کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں نہ تھا۔ جس نے رسول بھیج کر تمہیں توحید سکھائی اور سنائی تھی سب رسولوں کی زبانی کہلوایا تھا کہ میں ہی معبود ہوں میری ہی عبادت و اطاعت کرو۔ سوائے میرے کوئی پوجا کے لائق نہیں۔ ہر قسم کے شرک سے بچو۔ کبھی کسی طرح بھی مشرک نہ بنو۔ وہاں ہر شخص اپنے اعمال دیکھ لے گا۔ اپنی بھلائی برائی معلوم کرلے گا۔ نیک و بد سامنے آجائے گا۔ اسرار بےنقاب ہوں گے، کھل پڑیں گے، اگلے پچھلے چھوٹے بڑے کام سامنے ہوں گے۔ نامہ اعمال کھلے ہوئے ہوں گے، ترازو چڑھی ہوئی ہوگی۔ آپ اپنا حساب کرلے گا۔ تبلوا کی دوسری قرات تتلوا بھی ہے۔ اپنے اپنے کرتوت کے پیچھے ہر شخص ہوگا۔ حدیث میں ہے ہر امت کو حکم ہوگا کہ اپنے اپنے معبودوں کے پیچھے چل کھڑی ہوجائے۔ سورج پرست سب سورج کے پیچھے ہوں گے، چاند پرست چاند کے پیچھے، بت پرست بتوں کے پیچھے۔ سارے کے سارے حق تعالیٰ مولائے برحق کی طرف لوٹائے جائیں گے تمام کاموں کے فیصلے اس کے ہاتھ ہوں گے۔ اپنے فضل سے نیکوں کو جنت میں اور اپنے عدل سے بدوں کو جہنم میں لے جائے گا۔ مشرکوں کی ساری افرا پردازیاں رکھی کی رکھی رہ جائیں گی، بھرم کھل جائیں گے، پردے اٹھ جائیں گے۔
