Ayah Study

Say: "Is there of your (Allâh’s so-called) partners one that guides to the truth?" Say: "It is Allâh Who guides to the truth. Is then He Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? Then, what is the matter with you? How judge you?"

But as for those who have done evil deeds – the recompense of an evil deed shall be the like thereof; and – since they will have none to defend them against God – ignominy will overshadow them as though their faces were veiled by the night’s own darkness: it is they who are destined for the fire, therein to abide.

پوچھو کہ بھلا تمہارے شریکوں میں کون ایسا ہے کہ حق کا رستہ دکھائے۔ کہہ دو کہ خدا ہی حق کا رستہ دکھاتا ہے۔ بھلا جو حق کا رستہ دکھائے وہ اس قابل ہے کہ اُس کی پیروی کی جائے یا وہ کہ جب تک کوئی اسے رستہ نہ بتائے رستہ نہ پائے۔ تو تم کو کیا ہوا ہے کیسا انصاف کرتے ہو؟

"قل هل من شركائكم من يهدي إلى الحق قل الله يهدي للحق" أي أنتم تعلمون أن شركاءكم لا تقدر على هداية ضال وإنما يهدي الحيارى والضلال ويقلب القلوب من الغي إلى الرشد الله الذي لا إله إلا هو "أفمن يهدي إلى الحق أحق أن يتبع أمن لا يهدي إلا أن يهدى" أي أفيتبع العبد الذي يهدي إلى الحق ويبصر بعد العمى أم الذي لا يهدي إلى شيء إلا أن يهدى لعماه وبكمه كما قال تعالى إخبارا عن إبراهيم أنه قال "يا أبت لم تعبد ما لا يسمع ولا يبصر ولا يغني عنك شيئا" وقال لقومه "أتعبدون ما تنحتون والله خلقكم وما تعملون" إلى غير ذلك من الآيات وقوله "فما لكم كيف تحكمون" أي ما بالكم أن يذهب بعقولكم كيف سويتم بين الله وبين خلقه وعدلتم هذا بهذا وعبدتم هذا وهذا؟ وهلا أفردتم الرب جل جلاله المالك الحاكم الهادي من الضلالة بالعبادة وحده وأخلصتم إليه الدعوة والإنابة؟.

‏{‏قُلْ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَكَائِكُمْ مَنْ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ‏}‏ ببيانه وإرشاده، أو بإلهامه وتوفيقه‏.‏ ‏{‏قُلِ اللَّهُ‏}‏ وحده ‏{‏يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ‏}‏ بالأدلة والبراهين، وبالإلهام والتوفيق، والإعانة إلى سلوك أقوم طريق‏.‏ ‏{‏أَمَّنْ لَا يَهِدِّي‏}‏ أي‏:‏ لا يهتدي ‏{‏إِلَّا أَنْ يُهْدَى‏}‏ لعدم علمه، ولضلاله، وهي شركاؤهم، التي لا تهدي ولا تهتدي إلا أن تهدى ‏{‏فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ‏}‏ أي‏:‏ أيّ شيء جعلكم تحكمون هذا الحكم الباطل، بصحة عبادة أحد مع الله، بعد ظهور الحجة والبرهان، أنه لا يستحق العبادة إلا الله وحده‏.

قل -أيها الرسول- لهؤلاء المشركين: هل مِن شركائكم مَن يرشد إلى الطريق المستقيم؟ فإنهم لا يقدرون على ذلك، قل لهم: الله وحده يهدي الضال عن الهدى إلى الحق. أيهما أحق بالاتباع: مَن يهدي وحده للحق أم من لا يهتدي لعدم علمه ولضلاله، وهي شركاؤكم التي لا تَهدي ولا تَهتدي إلا أن تُهدَى؟ فما بالكم كيف سوَّيتم بين الله وخلقه؟ وهذا حكم باطل.

This invalidates and falsifies their claims for committing Shirk withAllah and worshipping different idols and rivals قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُمْ مَّن يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ (Say: "Is there of your partners one that originates the creation and then repeats it") meaning, who is the one who started the creation of these heavens and earth and created all the creatures in them Who can place the planets and the stars in their positions Who can then repeat the process of the creation قُلِ اللَّهُ (Say: "Allah") It is He Who does this. He does it by Himself, alone without partners. فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ ("Then how are you deluded away (from the truth)") How is it that you are so misled from the right path to falsehood قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُمْ مَّن يَهْدِى إِلَى الْحَقِّ قُلِ اللَّهُ يَهْدِى لِلْحَقِّ (Say: "Is there of your partners one that guides to the truth" Say: " It is Allah who guides to the truth. .".) You know that your deities are incapable of guiding those who are astray. It is Allah alone Who guides the misled and confused ones and turns the hearts from the wrong path to the right path. It is Allah, none has the right to be worshipped but He. أَفَمَن يَهْدِى إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لاَّ يَهِدِّى إِلاَّ أَن يُهْدَى (Is then He Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided) Will the servant then follow the one who guides to the truth so that he may see after he was blind, or follow one who doesn't guide to anything except towards blindness and muteness Allah said that Ibrahim said: يأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لاَ يَسْمَعُ وَلاَ يَبْصِرُ وَلاَ يُغْنِى عَنكَ شَيْئاً (O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything) 19:42 And said to his people قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ - وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ (Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve While Allah has created you and what you make!) 37: 95-96 Also, there are many Ayat in this regard. Allah then said: فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ (Then, what is the matter with you How judge you) What is the matter with you What has happened to your mind How did you make Allah's creatures equal to Him What kind of judgement did you make to turn away from Allah and worship this or that Why did you not worship the Lord -- Glorified be He, the True King, the Judge and the One Who guides to the truth Why didn't you call upon Him alone and turn towards Him Allah then explained that they did not follow their own religion out of evidence and proof. The fact is that they were following mere conjecture and imagination. But conjecture is in no way a substitute for the truth. At the end of this Ayah. He said, إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ (Allah is All-Aware of what they do.) This is both a threat and a promise of severe punishment. Allah said that He would reward them for their actions with a complete reward.

مصنوعی معبودوں کی حقیقت مشرکوں کے شرک کی تردید ہو رہی ہے کہ بتلاؤ تمہارے معبودوں میں سے ایک بھی ایسا ہے جو آسمانوں و زمین کو اور مخلوق کو پیدا کرسکے یا بگاڑ کر بنا سکے نہ ابتدا پر کوئی قادر نہ اعادہ پر کوئی قادر۔ بلکہ اللہ ہی ابتدا کرے وہی اعادہ کرے۔ وہ اپنے تمام کاموں میں یکتا ہے۔ پس تم طریق حق سے گھوم کر راہ ضلالت کی طرف کیوں جا رہے ہو ؟ کہو تو تمہارے معبود کسی بھٹکے ہوئے کی رہبری کرسکتے ہیں ؟ یہ بھی ان کے بس کی بات نہیں بلکہ یہ بھی اللہ کے ہاتھ ہے۔ ہادی برحق وہی ہے، وہی گمراہوں کو راہ راست دکھاتا ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی ساتھی نہیں۔ پس جو رہبری تو کیا کرے خود ہی اندھا بہرا ہو اس کی تابعداری ٹھیک یا اس کی اطاعت اچھی جو سچا ہادی مالک کل قادر کل ہو ؟ یہ حضرت ابراہیم خلیل اللہ نے اپنے باپ سے کہا تھا کہ ان کی پوجا کیوں کرتا ہے ؟ جو نہ سنیں نہ دیکھیں نہ کوئی فائدہ دے سکیں۔ اپنی قوم سے فرماتے ہیں کہ تم ان کی پوجا کرتے ہو جنہیں خود اپنے ہاتھوں بناتے ہو۔ حالانکہ تمہارا اور تمہارے کام کی تمام چیزوں کا پیدا کرنے والا اللہ تعالیٰ ہی ہے۔ یہاں فرماتا ہے تمہاری عقلیں کیا اوندھی ہوگئیں کہ خالق مخلوق کو ایک کردیا نیکی سے ہٹ کر بدی میں جا گرے توحید کو چھوڑ کر شرک میں پھنس گئے۔ اس کو اور اس کو پوجنے لگے۔ رب جل جلالہ مالک و حاکم و ہادی و رب سے بھٹک گئے۔ اس کی طرف خلوص دلی توجہ چھوڑ دی۔ دلیل وبرہان سے ہٹ گئے مغالطوں اور تقلید میں پھنس گئے۔ گمان اور اٹکل کے پیچھے پڑگئے۔ وہم و خیال کے بھنور میں آگئے، حالانکہ ظن و گمان فضول چیز ہے۔ حق کے سامنے وہ محض بیکار ہے تمہیں اس سے کوئی فائدہ پہنچ نہیں سکتا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ایسے لوگوں کے اعمال سے باخبر ہے وہ انہیں پوری سزا دے گا۔
